1. Have you ever asked for a raise or pay increase at work?  If so, describe what you did, how much increase you asked for, and what the outcome was.  If you have never asked for a pay increase at work, discuss how you would feel about doing so.  Would you be nervous?  Etc.
2. Pretend you are going to ask for a raise at your current job.
1. What would be a reasonable increase in pay?  Identify your current hourly wage and what you would ask for.
2. Write a script (word for word) about what you would say to your manager when asking for this pay increase?
